Curiosity Doesn’t Always Kill the Cat, or the Rat

In the picture you will see something you have probably never seen before. a leopard not eating a rat that’s eating its meal. This interesting incident happened in Santago Rare Leopard Project in Hertfordshire. The two or three month old rat was seen getting into the leopards enclosure and the picture was captured by a photography student, Casey Gutteridge while he was there to do his photography course project.

The leopard doesn’t even seem irritated with the rat eating its meal it only a little amused. The leopard sniffed it and the rat still didn’t seem to care.

It did raise its pause in submission but continued feeding. Finally the leopard moved away probably scarred for the rest of it’s like that it couldn’t even scare a rat. Experts say the rat is inexperienced and doesn’t know that leopards are to be feared.

  6. Thank you for a very clear and helpful post. I am definitely a violator of many of these rules. I often find myself conflicted when writing a blog post because I see myself writing more than people want to read, but I feel that I have to do the subject matter justice by thoroughly covering it. I feel that by following some of these rules I end up cutting out important aspects to the discussion. I guess you have to find a balance.
