Cats love carpets

As far as I have owned a cat, most of the time i do find myself complaining about either getting hair balls on the carpet or getting fur on the carpet as well as on the leather sets which at times makes the house to seem untidy and unclean. One time I spent almost an hour trying to clean the mess my cat had made on the carpet, thus I was forced to take drastic measure whereby I bought a new carpet that was said to do wonders to your cat. One time I came home and found my cat tightly grasping the carpet. It was quite funny as the cat stayed in the same position for several hours. I guess the carpet was too comfortable that the cat felt like it was in heaven. Ever since I got that new carpet my cat has never made a mess on it.
